UvAnetID: for UvA students and employees

Why UvAnetID?

The idea behind the UvAnetID is that it allows you to log in to multiple ICT services using a single user name and password.

  • The UvAnetID for students is the same as their student card number.
  • The UvAnetID for employees is based on their name details.

The UvAnetID is issued and supported in different ways, depending on whether you are a student or a staff member. For students: click on the relevant link below for further information. Employees can use the link to log in into the UvA Identity Management System (in Dutch).

ICT code of conduct

UvAnet is governed by a so-called ‘acceptable use policy'. All members of the UvA community are subject to these rules, and their compliance will help to prevent the occurrence of security incidents, among other things. There are 10 rules in all.
